- All data stays on your device: All user data—including hike history, distances, elevation details, times, and all related information—is stored only on your local Windows device.
- Local storage only: We use standard Windows storage mechanisms (such as local files or app data folders) that remain entirely under your control.
Optional OneDrive Integration
- User-initiated sync only: If you choose to save or sync your data to OneDrive (via built-in Windows features or app options), that data is stored in your personal OneDrive account.
- Microsoft handles OneDrive: Any data stored in OneDrive is governed solely by Microsoft's privacy policies. See: Microsoft Privacy Statement. We do not access, process, or control data stored there.
No Sharing or Analytics
- No third-party sharing: We do not share, sell, or disclose your data to anyone.
- No analytics or tracking: The app includes no analytics tools, crash reporting, or tracking services that send data externally.
Your Rights and Control
- Full control: You can view, edit, or delete your data at any time within the app or by managing the local files on your device.
- Uninstall to remove: Uninstalling the app removes all local data it created (except any files you manually saved to OneDrive or elsewhere).
